This holiday season as never before we are faced with many new medical problems for several of our military families. Sincere condolences to the Wagg family for the loss of their son. Continued prayers for Virgil Hartline-Fran buonanno-Pat Maggard-Turkey and his breathing issues. Wow guess the years are catching up to us.No matter what the issues are God will look out for us all.

Just another 1st Inf Vietnam brother. Was with A/2/16 at Bear Cat before moving to DiAn somewhere around Aug. of 66. Like your website, very nice. I believe a friend of mine was an Iron Ranger so will be sending him this website if he doesn't know about it already. I was part of Operation Abilene where Charlie Co. got caught in a horse ambush and had 33 KIA on Easter Sunday. Remember Birmingham and Attelboro, not sure I spelt that right. Anyway got wounded in Nov. of 66 so wasn't able to complete my full tour. Got re-assigned to Ft. Knox where I got back into armor. Merry Christmas guys, hope your all doing well as we get older.

Days are flying by and now it's time to chase the turkey and stuff him. Thanksgiving is one of the best days of the year where families come together and give thanks for gods mighty hand upon us. Keeping us healthy so we can see one another again. My prayers are with you all until we meet again. Doc Gilbert.
