I am James Julian Jr., the husband of Jesse Martin's daughter Debbie.
I have known Jesse to be one of the most brave, strong & honest men I have ever known. I appreciate his service to our country and his approval of the marriage between his daughter and me for the last 34 years.
Jesse, may you be blessed in this life and the life to come.

Your son-in-law,

Jim

If you Google me on the internet , you will find that I have authored a few books, but this one will be the most important because Xom Bo II has haunted me for nearly half a century. You can contact me on FaceBook or by writing to David AT david-hearne dot com or by calling me at 409-656-4625. Would really love to hear from some of you.

Thank You,

David Hearne
Former Captain US Army Artillery

Tried to post a comment and it appeared that it did not go through.. Will try again.
My name is David Hearne. I served in Vietnam 1967 and was in the battle of Xom Bo II with some of you. My job was a FO (Forward Observer) artillery officer assigned to the 2/28 (Black Lions). I am writing a book about the battle and I know there are some of you that could add a lot to it. I would love to correspond with any of you in any fashion to know more about what you remembered about the battle and about who you were then. My book is very near being finished, but I would welcome more input about the battle from others who were there. Everyone I have talked to adds something about it that I didn't already know. 409-656-4625
